Later on she was a part of three movies for Yash Raj Films. She was a young wife to an actor of middle age (Shah Rukh Khan) in the movie. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's 'Badmash Company" together with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The film was met with mixed receptions. Anushka played a role in a film named Band Baaja Baaraat, starring Ranveer who played an American Punjabi girl from middle class who sets up her wedding planning business. The movie was a huge success with a lot of praise. With Band Baaja Baaraat Anushka's three-film deal under the Yash Raj Films banner was complete.
